2000 YOUTHS UNDERGO DIGITAL JOB TRAINING



-          The Federal Ministry of Communication Technology in collaboration with Cross River State Ministry of Information and Communication Technology has organized a 2-day free digital job training workshop for 2000 youths across the state.

-          The Director of e-government, Federal Ministry of Communication Technology, Mr. Ekworo Macdonald Udeze, said the programme was a continuation of the Digital jobs Africa Initiative which started in 2014 for the whole country, adding that there was need to complete it in the remaining 19 states.
-          Mr. Macdonald Udeze explained that the workshop was aimed at exposing participants on how to access online jobs.
-          He emphasized that the participants would have first-hand training on assessing these jobs, adding that the registration on the platform is free.
