The House of Assembly in Akwa Ibom has thrown
its weight behind the administration of Governor Udom on revenue generation.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Onofiok
Luke stated this at the opening of public hearing on the Revenue Administration
Bill 2015.

He explained that the public hearing was for
members to collate and assess contributions from state holders and members of
the public as they consider giving legislative backing to revenue collection
and administration in the state.

The members of the 6th Assembly reaffirmed their
commitment to ensure that they align themselves with the wishes and aspirations
of the people.
