AKSG SETS MODALITIES TO EASE PENSIONS PAYMENT

_        Akwa Ibom Government has set modalities to ease pension payment and gratuities to retiring personnel in the state civil service.

_        The Head of Civil Service (HCS), Mrs. Ekerebong Akpan, stated this during an interaction with Government House Correspondents.

_        This came after a meeting with the state governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel and the leadership of the state council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), led by the chairman, comrade Etim Ukpong.

_        Mrs. Akpan said that workers’ welfare was top most on the agenda of the present administration.
