ANTI CCT TRIAL: SARAKI KNOWS FATE TODAY

-          Justice Kafarati of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja will today deliver his judgment in a fundamental Human Rights enforcement suit filed by Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

-          Senator Saraki is seeking an order to stop his trial on a 13-count charge of false assets declaration before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

-          Justice Abdul- Kafarati’s judgment comes on the hills of an earlier verdict of the Supreme Court, which on February 5, validated Saraki’s trial before the CCT.

-          Incidentally, both Saraki’s suits before the Federal High Court and his fresh application before the CCT are on the same grounds.
