CRSG SATISFIED WITH NEWMAP PROJECTS





-          The Cross River State Govt. has expressed satisfaction with the level of work being undertaken by the Nigerian Erosion and Watershed Management Agency Programme NEWMAP.

-           The deputy Gov., Prof. Ivara Esu, made this known in Calabar while on an on-the-spot assessment tour of all NEWMAP project sites in Calabar metropolis.
-           He described the erosion control works as wonderful in terms of technical expertise and aesthetic outlay and commended the programme operators and engineers for job well done.
-          Prof. Esu, who is himself a soil scientist, noted that these objects would form a good basis for studies by soil physicists adding that his regular visit was a clear indication of govt’s interests in the projects.
