The military segment of the $2.1 billion arms
deal fund has landed 12 army officers in trouble with the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
-
One Lieutenant Colonel, four Colonels, three
Brigadier Generals, one retired Major General and three serving Major Generals
are being interrogated by EFCC for their alleged involvement in the arms deal
scandal.

The army officers were reportedly referred to
the anti-graft agency by the army authorities, following an internal probe.
