The Nigeria Police Force in Imo State is
reported to have intercepted and impounded a commercial bus loaded with bullets
headed for Owerri.

The State Police Spokesman Mr. Chinedu Oko told
media that the bus came from Umuahia, capital of Abia state.

Oko said about 12 occupants of the bus were
quickly nabbed by the police.

He said the matter is currently under strong
investigation.
