COMMISSIONER FOR LANDS AND TOWN PLANNING COMMENDED

-          Owners of plots allotted them by the govt. at Eniong Offot Annua/ Ifa Ikot Okpon Housing Layout have commended the Commissioner, Prince Uwem Ita Etuk for his pragmatic effort in repositioning the Estate.

-          It could be recalled that the Estate was created by Arc. Obong Victor Attah administration in the year 2007 and letters of allocation issued to owners.

-          But due to lack of interest in the project by the last administration, basic infrastructure such as access roads and electricity, were not provided.

-          Non-provision of these amenities prevented most of the allotees from taking possession of their plot and developing same.
