COMPPART TRAINS COMMUNITIES ON SECURITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS PRINCIPLES

The Community Policing Partners (COMPPART) has trained members of the rural communities in Akwa Ibom State on how to handle security and human rights issues.

-        -   This, they did in a two-day workshop with the theme: “Enhancing Police Community Partnership through Effective Public Relations” held at the Independent Hall, Abak in Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

-          - The organization provided basic information to guide the community dwellers on the principles of security and fundamental human rights.

-         -  The chairman on the occasion, Mr. Tony Iji said the workshop was very important especially in giving the security and fundamental human rights.
