dissatisfaction over the perennial fuel crisis in the state.
- The house held an emergency meeting with the Calabar free
trade zone, which houses most of the farm tanks; in a bid to find a solution to
the scarcity.

Esua: who chaired the meeting; observed that the scarcity situation is
unhealthy.
- The acting head of the Calabar Free Trade Zone, Alhaji Muazu
Sahabi informed the house that the zone was created by the federal government
law and does not custody petroleum product as speculated.
