- The Federal Govt. has approved the sitting
of a full-fledged Marine division of the Nigeria Police force at Oyorokoto
Community in Andoni Local Govt. Area of Rivers State.
- The immediate past Assembly member
representing Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency, Awajinomek Abiante hinted
that two gunboats have been stationed in the area to check criminality.
- He condemned the incessant cult clashes in
Andoni which led to the loss of lives and property.
- He called on traditional leaders and opinion
leaders in the area to speak against the brewing violence in the area.
