DFID TO PARTNER LAGOS ON EDUCATION, ECONOMY



-   
                - The Department for International Development has expressed willingness to support the Lagos State Govt. in the areas of education and economy.

-     -     The Permanent Secretary of the DFID, Mark Lowcok, spoke during a visit to the Deputy Gov. of the state, Dr Oluranti Adebule.
-       -   A statement on Wednesday said Lowcok explained that the partnership was to assist the state government achieve its dream of quality education in schools and upgrade of infrastructure.
-      -    Lowcok said that the DFID would be willing to assist the state government in the areas of upgrading its educational infrastructure, provision of modern instructional materials, adoption of information technology for teaching and general improvement of the economy.
