FG NEEDS $500M TO REVIVE REFINERIES-KACHIKWU



-           The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, says the Federal Govt. needs between $300 and $500 million to bring Warri, Portharcourt and Kaduna refineries to life.

-           Kachikwu, group Managing Director of NNPC by the presidency, made the disclosure during a joint meeting with the House of representative committee on Gas Resources.
-           He said the senate had on Wednesday announced plans to begin the probe of President Buhari’s decision on the matter.
  -       Senator Tayo Alasoadura, on the behalf of other Committee Chairmen, vehemently defended NNPC and the Presidency.
