NAVY TO ESTABLISH BASE IN LAKE CHAD

-          President Buhari has approved the establishment of a naval base in the Lake Chad region.

-          The director of Naval Information, Commodore Chris Ezekobe disclosed this in an interview with journalists recently.

-          This is in a bid to tackle insurgency in the north.

-          According to him, the personnel for the command post are currently undergoing training in the North-East and will be deployed soon.
