-          Pensioners of the Nigerian Telecommunications Plc say non-payment of their pensions for five years has negatively affected their standard of living.

-          They added that the suspension of pension payment had led to the death of some pensioners due to illnesses they could not afford to treat.
-          The pensioners accused the past govts. of failing to come to their aid despite several complaints and urge the President Buhari-led administration to come to their aid.
-          A 73 –year-old man, Mr. Olusagun Okunwobi, on Wednesday alleged that the problems were caused by some cabals in the organization, adding that many homes had broken due to the financial challenge of the retirees.
