OYO POLICE RECOVER 16 STOLEN CARS, NAB SUSPECTS





-    -      The Oyo State Police Command recovered 18 stolen exotic cars and five motorcycles in an operation that took policemen from the command to the creeks of Rivers State and other creeks in the South-South area of Nigeria.

-     -     Commissioner of Police in the state, Leye Oyebade, told PUCH Metro on Wednesday, while parading suspects arrested in connection with the crime, as well as the receivers of the stolen goods, that crime pattern had assumed a new dimension, adding that it required special policing.
-    -      He explained that apart from robbing with sophisticated guns, the robbers that were arrested also devised ways of stealing cars with specially-made keys irrespective of the brand of the cars and installed anti-theft devise.
-          On February 2, 2016, one of the members, Oludele Fatunola, was arrested in the Omi-Adio area of Ibadan.
