The
Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Kaduna chapter has described the
controversial Religious Preaching Bill as obnoxious.
-
According to PFN, taking away their right to
preach and evangelise means telling them not to practice their religion as
commanded by Jesus Christ.
-
Reportedly, the State government team, led by
the Deputy Governor, Yusuf Bala had told the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN)
delegation that the expected law would crb religious extremism and hate
speeches.
-
The PFN boss, Ehimidu stated that the bill was
unacceptable to Christians, adding that Christians would do anything to ensure
the bill is not passed into law.
