Embattled Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki
has given reasons the charges the federal government preferred against him
should be quashed.

Saraki is facing a 13-count criminal charge
which the federal government preferred against him before the Code of Conduct
Tribunal (CCT) sitting in Abuja.

Saraki insisted that the allegations leveled
against him were not different from the ones slammed against former governor of
Lagos state, AsiwajuAhmed Bola Tinubu.

The Senate President urged the Justice Danladi
Umar-led CCT, to discharge him as it discharged Tinubu.
