- The University of Uyo, Uyo has admitted no
fewer than 8000 students for the 2015/2016 academic year.
- The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Enefiok Essien
who spoke at the matriculation ceremony on Tuesday advised the students to see
their admission as an opportunity to discover their hidden potentials.
- Speaking at the town campus of the
university, the VC promised that; students who gained admission into the school
by fraud will soon be fished out and sent packing.
- The matriculation oath was administered by
the acting librarian of the school, Dr. Uboho Umoren.
