CAN REJECTS ALLOTMENT OF GRAZING FIELDS TO HERDSMEN

-          Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), South East Zone has urged the National Assembly to reject any bill intended to allow the creation of grazing fields for herdsmen.

-          South East CAN chairman, Rev. David and National Chairman CEWO, Apostle Joseph, said such bill will only create problems in areas where there is peace presently.

-          Instead of grazing fields, CAN recommend the establishment of modern ranches.

-          According to CAN, the building of ranches for the cows and sheep will provide schools, hospitals and employment for the country’s teaming youths.
