FORMER DEPUTY SPEAKER ESCAPES ASSASSINATION

-           Mr. Effiong Okon, former AKS deputy speaker escaped assassination attempt by unknown gunmen.

-          A 10- man gang stormed the house of the former Oron/ Udung Uko representative around 7:30pm.
