- Senior Magistrate Court in Apapa, Lagos has remanded one Chibuike Dike (33-years-old) in prison for sleeping with an eight year old girl.
- The accused pleaded guilty to a two-count charge of breach of peace and defilement.
- The prosecutor, Inspector Tony Elibeh informed the court that the accused dragged the under-aged girl to his apartment and raped her.
- The accused is to be remanded in custody till the hearing of his plea on March 30.
