NEWBORN BABY STOLEN IN GENERAL HOSPITAL

-           A one-day-old baby was reported missing at the weekend in Dutse General Hospital, Jigawa State.

-           The state Police spokesperson, DSP Abdul Jinjiri, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Dutse.

-          The mother of the missing child, Malama Huraira yahaya, in tears explained that her son, who is hers first child, was stolen even before setting her eyes on him.

-          The father of the baby, Yahaya Ali Sarki said, on the day his son was stolen, he saw his wife’s stepmother with an unknown woman leaving the hospital premises with the baby.
