OBASANJO ATTACKS EFCC


 
      -          Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, taking a retrospective look at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), concluded that the anti graft agency had become a toothless bulldog after the exit of the pioneer chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
-          He made this known on the Occasion of his 79 th birthday celebration held at the International Conference Centre, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta.
-          He also said that during Ribadu’s tenure in EFCC there was effectiveness and efficiency in the commission.
-          The former President wondered what made the institution he founded became a “toothless bulldog.”
