Senators yesterday affirmed their support for the Senate President, Dr. Bukola
Saraki, following rumours that some APC lawmakers were plotting his
replacement.

The six Senators openly declared their support
for Saraki, though they are less than 10% of the population in the Red Chamber.

Saraki is the only Senate President who, in less
than a year, had votes of confidence passed on him by 85 of 109 Senators.

Meanwhile, Saraki says the National Assembly
will prioritize bills aimed at protecting and safeguarding the rights of
persons living with disabilities.
