SUCCESSOR PLOT: 6 SENATORS BACK SARAKI

-           Some Senators yesterday affirmed their support for the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, following rumours that some APC lawmakers were plotting his replacement.

-            The six Senators openly declared their support for Saraki, though they are less than 10% of the population in the Red Chamber.

-          Saraki is the only Senate President who, in less than a year, had votes of confidence passed on him by 85 of 109 Senators.

-          Meanwhile, Saraki says the National Assembly will prioritize bills aimed at protecting and safeguarding the rights of persons living with disabilities.
