AKHA RERUN: PDP THUGS ARRESTED WITH NINE AK 47 ASSAULT RIFLES

                    -    Security agents have arrested five hired assassins who were brought to kill prominent APC members in Ikot Ekpene LGA.

-       -   Also found in the possession of the hoodlums were nine AK47 rifle and other ammunitions.

-        -  The assassins were arrested in the house of Mr. Okon Udofia a retired Civil servant brother to former Deputy Governor, Sir Michael Udofia, at Utu Edem Usung in Ikot Ekpene LGA.

-         - The arrest of the suspects comes amidst rising tension in Ikot Ekpene/ Obot Akara State Constituency ahead of Saturday’s rerun election between Bar. Austin Mbeh of APC and Idongesit Ntepere of PDP.
