ALLEGED FALSE ASSET DECLARATION: SARAKI OPTS FOR MARCH 11 TRIALS




-           The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has rescheduled the trial of Senate President, Bukola Saraki to March 11.

-          The head, Press and Public Relations of the CCT, Ibrahim Al- Hassan says the new date was at the instance of Saraki’s lead counsel, Chief Godwin Agabi (SAN).
-          The Tribunal yesterday acceded to the request of the Senate President to reschedule the hitherto fixed date for hearing at the tribunal.
-          This followed a letter signed by Agabi and sent to the CCT, dated February 26, 2016 and addressed to the Chief Registrar of the tribunal.
