Yesterday, the Organised Labour crippled
government activities in Kaduna State as civil servants at the state and local government
levels went to attend a rally organized by Labour.
-
Labour organized the rally to protest the
rally to protest perceived anti-workers policies of Governor Nasir El-Rufai led
All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
-
Reportedly, Labour has issued a seven-day
ultimatum for El-Rufai to rescind his alleged anti-workers’ policy or it will embark
on a nationwide industrial action.
-
Aggrieved workers thronged the Kaduna State
branch of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), with placards bearing diverse
writings, chanting anti El-Rufai’s songs and regretting voting him to power.
