- The
Commissioner for Lands and Housing in Akwa Ibom, Mr. Uwem Ita Etuk says Gov is to
blame on the move to demolish homes and other landed properties of Eniong Offot
residents.
- Mr Ita Etuk stated this while receiving serving/
past Govt. officials and businessmen living in the area.
- Says he has tried to advice the Governor against
the project but the Governor would not listen.
He however hinted that the present
administration does not want to incur the wrath of the people by illegally
demolishing their homes.
