ONDO STATE TRAINS 1000 STUDENTS AS PEER EDUCATORS

           -   Ondo State Govt. trains 1000 secondary school students as health marshals to help drive its Adolescent and Youth Friendly Health Programme (AYFHP) among their colleagues.

-          - The State Health Commissioner, Dr. Dayo Adeyanju, revealed that the government introduced a multi-sectoral approach programme to harness the resourcefulness of young people towards productive engagement

-          - He noted that the Adolescent and Youth Friendly Health Programme has been a huge success and should be emulated nationwide.

-          - He noted that the project is in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
