VILLAGE HEAD ARRESTED FOR INFECTING 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL WITH HIV

-          The village head of Goron-Maje in Danbatta Local Govt., Alhaji Musa Goron-Maje, has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 13 year old and infecting her with HIV.

-          The Kano state Hisbah Board Director General, Dr Abba Sufi of the board said the arrest was made on Monday and the suspect has been handed over to the Emir of Kano Alhaji Muhammed Sanusi.

-          The suspect would soon be taken to court for proper prosecution.

-          The 13 year old was engaged to be married to a suitor only to test positive to HIV.
