• NYSC RESUMES CAMP IN NORTH EAST

-          Director General of the National Youth Service corps (NYSC) Brig. Gen. Johnson Olawumi says the orientation camps shut down in Gombe, Adamawa, Yobe and Borno will be reopened this year.
-          He noted that the scheme may record about 260, 000 corps members this year, though the office budget and national planning has pegged the corps population at 210,000 for the year.
-          He was, however, optimistic that government would accede to NYSC’s request to prepare for 260,000 corps members this year.
-          The NYSC is for Nigerians either trained at home or abroad.
