• LABOUR DEMANDS JOINT PANEL TO INVESTIGATE GHOST WORKERS:



-      - Organised labour has urged the FG to set up a joint government-labour panel to investigate the allegation of 23,000 ghost workers in the Federal Civil Service.

-          Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun at the defence of the ministry’s budget in the National Assembly, alleged that 23,000 ghost workers had been discovered on the payroll of the federal civil service.
-          The Association of Senior Civil Servant in Nigeria (ASCS) in a press statement by its Secretary General, Alade Bashir Lawal, stated that the joint govt-labour panel to investigate the matter will help secure the jobs of innocent civil servants
-          ASCSN noted that, it is reasonable to insist that due diligence be done on the ghost workers saga.
