- Super eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, in the wee hours of Friday, on his official Twitter handle announced his resignation as Chief Coach of the Super Eagles.

resignation is due to contract violations, lack of support, unpaid wages and
benefits to players, Assistant Coaches and himself.

Oliseh had signed a three-year deal on July 15, 2015, with the Nigera Football
Federation; succeeding Stephen Keshi, who was sacked at the start of July.

- Oliseh is
the fourth player from the class of 1994 to manage the Super Eagles after
Austin Eguavoen, Samson Siasia and Stephen Keshi.
