The EFCC has arrested another senior
member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus.

Uche is arrested in connection to the
prosecution of Mr. Jide Omokare, Chairman of Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts
Nigerian Limited.

Mr Omokare is under investigation for
oil swap deals between his firm and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC).

It is alleged that Omokare’s company lifted
crude oil worth billions of dollars but only remitted a fraction of its worth
to government coffers.
