• NAFDAC BANS BEANS IMPORTATION

-          -To ensure food security, the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration And Control (NAFDAC) yesterday banned the importation of beans into the country.

-          Mrs. Yetunde Oni the acting director general of the agency that only beans screened by NAFDAC would be allowed into the country.

-          Other banned items include vegetables, poultry chicken, eggs, turkey etc.

-          The agency hopes that this mov will help check unwholesome products in the Nigerian market.
