ARMY LAUNCH MOTORBIKE BATTALION



-          The Nigerian Army has established a motorbike battalion to add force to its war on insurgency in the Northeast.

-          Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai said the motorbike battalion will ensure safety on the roads and give the military an edge in the ongoing insurgency war.
-          Opens the Maiduguri-Damboa-Biu, one of the major highways in the Northeast for traffic after over two years of closure due to insurgency in the area.

-          Also released a fresh list of 100 suspected members of the terror sect, Boko Haram whom are wanted by the army.
