POLITICAL LEADERS, CSGs WANT SARAKI’S CASE AT CCT DISMISSED



-           Some political leaders in the North-Central and Civil Society Groups (CSGs) have called for the immediate dismissal of the present trial of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

-          Under the platform of Leaders of Thought, North-Central zone, the political leaders at a briefing in Ilorin rejected the CCT’s judgment of March 24, 2016.
-          Senator Ahmed Mohammed, spokesperson of the group called on President Buhari to be interested in the alleged injustice and abuse of legal system in Nigeria by CCT Chairman.
-          Secretary-General of the Coalition of Civil Society Organization, Basambo Abubakar said Saraki represents the face of Nigerian youths and students, adding that Sariki is the face of tomorrow for youths and students in Nigeria.
