STUDENT JAILED FOR SNATCHING BAG

-           An Area Court in Abuja has sentenced a 20-year-old student, John Onoja to a three months jail term for snatching a lady’s bag.

-          John, who lives at Lugbe Zone 9, Abuja was convicted after he pleaded guilty to the charge.

-          The Judge, Mr. Garba Ogbebe gave the convict an option of N5, 000 fine, warning him to desist from crime.

-          Ogbebe ordered the convict to pay N32, 000 restitution to the complainant, Mr. Raphael Obi, and to return the stolen bag.
