-
Nigeria’s Super Eagles now faces an
uphill task bagging a ticket to next year’s African Nations Cup tournament in
Gabon.
-
The Eagles last night lost to the
Pharohs of Egypt by a lone goal margin via a Ramadan Sobhy’s second half
strike.
-
The host who put up a commanding
showing in the first half terrorized the Nigerian defence early into the game
whiles the Eagles showed little or no hunger for goals.
-
The second half commenced with the
Egyptians coming on stronger; an effort which paid off with a goal resulting
from a goal mouth melee.
