TUSSLE IN UNIUYO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

-          Justice Ijeoma L. Ojokwu of the Federal High Court, Uyo has finally laid to rest the protracted court tussle which beset the University of Uyo Alumni since 2014.

-          In a judgment delivered recently in Suit No. FHC/UY/CS/77/14.

-           She has affirmed the position of the Supreme Court on the binding nature of any constitution on members, be it a nation, group of persons, body or association.

-          The current executive/ management committee of Uniuyo Alumni Association chaired by Mr. Emmanuel Hogan was constitutionally sworn-in on October 2012, their tenure expires October 27, 2016 when new elected management committee will be sworn-in.
