A civil society group, International
Society for Moral Advancement, ISMA has challenged the Governor. of Akwa Ibom
to disclose the government’s policy direction to the people of the state.

The national secretary of ISMA, Prince
Emmanuel Akpabio gave the challenge in Uyo while speaking with newsmen.

Prince said the civil society group had
issued a statement requesting the Governor to publicly address the citizens of
the state, letting them know the financial standard of the state, including the
assets and liabilities; and the debts owed.

According to him the citizens ought to
know the policy direction of this govt., the Gov. has not felt it necessary.
