FBI DROPS APPLE SUIT, HACKS ATTACKER’S IPHONE

-           The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has unlocked the phone used by one of the San Bernardino terror attackers.

-          The unlocking of the iPhone has ended a heated legal battle with Apple that had pitted US authorities against Silicon Valley.
-          Allegedly, Apple and technology giants refused backing the US government to hack the iPhone, saying it would have wide reaching implications on digital security and privacy.
-          A court hearing scheduled earlier this month has been cancelled abruptly after FBI revealed it has found an outside party to unlock the iPhone.
