gunmen invaded a hotel in Umuokiri village, Aluu Community in Ikwere LGA,
Rivers State on Sunday, killing a student of University of Port Harcourt.

The deceased, Mr. Clinton Akpribo-Amos, a
student of Linguistics and Communication Studies in UNIPORT was shot by a group
of young men suspected to be members of a secret cult.

Reportedly, the gunmen shot severally at the
victim, who seemed to have been their target, leaving several others injured.

Reacting, Police Public Relations Officer of the
Command, Mahmed Mohammed said the Command was not yet briefed on the incident.
