A new biometric
audit capture for civil servants is underway in Rivers State following success recorded
in the recent BVN data exercise, has revealed.

Briefing newsmen recently,
the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Dr. Austin Tam-George, said
the exercise is billed to commence in the next three weeks, adding that it’s
aimed to checking more fund leakages.

This news
followed shortly after the weekly executive council meeting presided over by
Gov. Nyesom.

Tam-George said, “The
government wants to have better data coverage to determine how many people
actually work for the government.
