NGO DEMANDS COMPENSATION TO OIL COMMUNITIES FOR GAS FLARING

-        Chief Samingo Etukakpan, head of Community watch of Nigeria (CWN) declares need for host community’s compensation on gas flaring.

-        He averred that residents of gas flaring areas suffer heart and lungs complications.

-        Calling on the state ministries of Environment, NOSDRA, DPR and other stakeholders to help in the quest.

-        He decries how companies continue to flout government directives on gas flaring.
