NIGERIA COMMITTED TO ACHIEVING 16 SDGs- MINISTER

 
-           The Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu has assured Nigerians that Buhari’s administration is committed to achieving the 16 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

-          The Minister disclosed this on Monday in his address at the 2016 Commonwealth Day Celebration in Abuja.

-            News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that SDGs are a new, universal set of goals, targets and indicators for UN member states.

-          Expectedly, UN member states should use SDGs to frame their agenda and political policies for the next 15 years, as SDG is an expansion on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
