- The Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu has assured Nigerians that Buhari’s administration is committed to achieving the 16 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Minister disclosed this on Monday in his
address at the 2016 Commonwealth Day Celebration in Abuja.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that SDGs
are a new, universal set of goals, targets and indicators for UN member states.

Expectedly, UN member states should use SDGs to
frame their agenda and political policies for the next 15 years, as SDG is an
expansion on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
