POPE URGES COMPASSION FOR MIGRANTS, REFUGEES IN EASTER MESSAGE

-           Pope Francis 111 has slammed the rejection of migrants and refugees during his Easter message, as Europe struggles with its migration crisis.

-          The message stated that “…Easter …invites us not to forget those men and women seeking a better future…”
-          According to him, Christians should accommodate the “numerous throngs of migrants and refugees …fleeing from war, hunger, poverty and social justice…”
-          The essence of this is to avoid them meeting with untimely death or rejection, when Christians could welcome and assist them.
