Pope
Francis 111 has slammed the rejection of migrants and refugees during his
Easter message, as Europe struggles with its migration crisis.
-
The message stated that “…Easter …invites us not
to forget those men and women seeking a better future…”
-
According to him, Christians should accommodate
the “numerous throngs of migrants and refugees …fleeing from war, hunger,
poverty and social justice…”
The essence of this is to avoid them meeting
with untimely death or rejection, when Christians could welcome and assist
them.
